Boat Refugee Foundation provides medical and psychosocial care to people in Mavrovouni refugee camp on Lesvos. In the camp, people face not only great uncertainty about their future, often leading to feelings of hopelessness, but also trauma and loss, a range of health problems and a lack of almost everything: from safety and privacy to hygiene, hot water, sufficient food and access to healthcare.

The efforts of Boat Refugee Foundation's doctors, nurses, psychologists, interpreters and support crew are vital for the people in the camp.
