In October 2025 I travelled to Lesvos to volunteer with Boat Refugee Foundation. I witnessed firsthand how deeply this organization cares for people arriving on the shores of Greece after journeys of unimaginable hardship. They provide medical and psychological support at moments when hope feels fragile.
Today their work is under real pressure. Funding is being cut, and many organizations are stepping back. However, Boat Refugee Foundation continues to stand with the most vulnerable.
To help them continue this vital work, a group of us will be running the Amsterdam marathon to raise much needed funds for this organization. Your support here directly strengthens the care offered to people who need it most.
