I will soon be leaving for the Greek island of Lesvos to volunteer for Boat Refugee Foundation. Boat Refugee Foundation provides medical and psychosocial care to people in the Mavrovouni refugee camp on Lesbos. In the camp, people face not only great uncertainty about their future, often leading to hopelessness, but also trauma and loss, a range of health problems and a lack of almost everything: from safety and privacy to hygiene, hot water, sufficient food and access to healthcare.

I am happy to contribute to this care and look forward to volunteering!
